What is Think Strong? - A Philosophy for Dealing with Life Head On
What is Think Strong?

THINK STRONG is a state of mind, a philosopy, a choice in how to live, how to face the joys and adversity life throws our way each day.  Eric Hoffberg's goal is to empower individuals to improve their quality of life, as well as the lives of those around them, by maintaining mental strength throughout the adversity of uncertain times.

It is our dream that individuals subscribing to the THINK STRONG philosophy will leverage our message by making the choice to define what THINK STRONG means to them.  Our dream is to build on these individuals one by one and create a common THINK STRONG Community.

Core Values

1.  Choose thoughts that make you strong.

2.  Allow your thoughts to make a difference.

Be confident that your energy can bring about change for you and those around you.

3.  Be a student of the "game of life."

Be grateful for YOUR life.
Learn to think with clarity.
Be eager to live life to the fullest.
Develop a desire to exceed your own expectations.

4.  Be your own best coach.

Nobody knows YOU better than YOU, so take a stand for yourself.

5.  Master the "Regroup."

Don't allow circumstances to weaken your attitude.
Realize that everything happens for a reason; choose strength over surrender.

6.  Know why you believe in you.

Make a list of reasons why you believe in you (include your commitment to THINK STRONG as one of those reasons).

7.  Choose to implement the THINK STRONG Core Values into your everyday life.

When Eric Hoffberg, a business and personal coach, thought of the Think Strong concept, he was trying to keep his own perspective.  He was on a busy downtown street during lunchtime, and every face that passed him was absorbed in its own woes.

Eric himself was worried about his own livelihood.  In a down economy, training and seminar budgets are often the first cut.  How would he pay his bills if clients couldn't afford his services? What would he tell his family if he couldn't bring home the bacon?

His worries weren't unique, and he knew he wasn't anywhere anyone else hadn't already been before.  But he did know that he had the choice to handle whatever the coming days brought--whether the economy nose dived or took off like a silver bullet--in a healthy, positive and strong way.

When Eric Hoffberg made the decision to Think Strong, he didn't want to keep it a secret.  Today, he wants to share his newfound perspective and foster a community where others can come together and share what thinking strong means to them.  Right now, we have launched a simple message board to gather your feedback, and we welcome your input!

We're launching the Think Strong Web site in spring 2009 and want to include you, so get ready to Think Strong!
